By: https://AfricAsiaEuro.com – Edith Piaf spirit has found Christiane Mouron – amazing voice –
If Edith Piaf would have been alive she would have chosen Christiane as her successor. With her incredible voice Christiane sings almost all of Edith songs.
Christiane Mouron live at Accra Alliance Fete de la musique 2014. Christiane Claire Pimpernel, whose nickname is Pimpernel, is a French singer born in Marseille. She interprets successfully la grand dame de Chanson Francaise Edith Piaf as well as greats like Charles Aznavour. In fact her fantastic voice allows her to excellently recreate an atmosphere of distinctiveness where artists and public are immediately drawn into.
She began her career at the time of Big Bazar with Michel Fugain. After the departure of the latter, the band released a new album under the direction of Pimpernel but without encountering commercial success. She then began a solo career punctuated by several albums including one awarded the Grand Prix de l’Académie Charles Cros. In the 2000s, it continues to occur in France and Germany, and toured extensively throughout the world and particularly in South East Asia with his pianist and musical director Terry Truck. Alongside his solo career, she has created a musical and air show “Songs of Exile.” She also wrote and directed the show “Cabaret Roaring Twenties” in Hong Kong.
We apologize for the poor quality of recording.
